BIMmTool Palette

Open the BIMmTool Palette.

The palette acts like a regular Archicad palette; you can keep it floating or dock it at the desired location in your working window.

Point cloud import

(Only active with a valid BIMmTool license)

Open the Point cloud import dialog.
Select the point clouds you wish to import and verify the import parameters.

BIMm Navigator

BIMmNavigator is BIMmTool's point cloud viewer and organizer. It displays point clouds captured by terrestrial scanners and user defined virtual panoramas created with BIMmTool Pro's clipping box.

IVION

(Only active with a corresponding license)

The optional IVION module reaches out to NavVis' IVION platform for sharing scan data captured by a NavVis VLX scanner. This module helps you to navigate and model directly from the point cloud stored on the IVION platform!

Acquire license / License Info

If you haven't got a license or your license is not loaded, you can obtain your license via the Acquire License command.

Fill the form to request a license to test BIMmTool for 14 days at no cost or load your license file to activate your BIMmTool.

Students, teachers, and academic institutions with an Archicad Educational license are eligible for a free Educational BIMmTool license.

If your license is loaded, the License Info palette contains the information about your license. Here you can also deactivate your license with the Delete license file command and load another license file.

Shot 3D

If you take measurements in an Archicad window, remember to hit the Shot 3D command before hitting the point to measure. The cursor shape changes to a pencil, allowing you to snap to points from the scanned point cloud in the Archicad window.
